Media
HVCB is actively involved in many different areas
of information technology. Among the first destinations
to promote actively on the Internet, www.gohawaii.com
contains more than 700 pages.
World
Wide Web Site
The World Wide Web provides a graphical "point
& click" interface to the Internet. HVCB's
web site provides generic information about Hawaii
(i.e., convention services, culture, activities,
attractions, points of interest, calendar of events,
etc.) but more importantly, we provide free hypertext
links to our members who have a home page on the
Internet. The HVCB's Consumer website is www.gohawaii.com,
and our general e-mail address is info@hvcb.org.
Internet Links
Because the HVCB is a non-profit organization,
it can participate on the broad non-commercial level
of the Internet, while still providing links (or
pointers) to our members for commercial purposes.
Every HVCB member is entitled to at least one hypertext
link from our WWW site as a benefit of membership.
This allows you to have a 24 hour per day, 7 day
per week "virtual storefront" for your business.
If you would like to participate, please contact
the Membership Department at (808) 924-0267 or e-mail
membership@hvcb.org.
